Finance & Administrative Associate

Role overview:
This new role has been created to focus exclusively on the Numerator International business within Kantar. The role will directly report to COE Controller who is based in India.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Administrative Associate to support day-to-day financial and administrative operations in Korea. The role will be primarily responsible for liaising with tax authorities and banks and coordinating with messengers and couriers to ensure smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Petty Cash/Cash advance Management:
o Handle and maintain accurate records of petty cash/cash advance transactions.
o Reconcile petty cash balances and ensure proper documentation for expenses.
o Prepare reports for monthly reimbursements and ensure adherence to company policies.
Liaison with Tax Authorities & Support on Audit activities:
o Oversee Tax Reporting and Compliance
o Assist in the preparation and submission of tax documents for all types of taxes/in-market auditing (both direct and indirect tax).
o Serve as the point of contact for communication and work with local tax authorities & auditors.
o Coordinate audits and respond to queries or notices in a timely manner.
o Prepare and submit any required reports to the government or auditors.
o Assist in other tasks related to taxes and auditing.
o Physical verification of assets as per statutory requirements
Advisory role -- Advise management and related stakeholders on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities; Keep abreast of changes and developments in tax legislation; Analyse and review financial data to identify tax savings and minimize tax exposure
Bank Coordination:
o Manage relationships with local banking partners.
o Collaborate with local banks to obtain necessary documentation as needed by the business.
o Support account opening/closure, fund transfers, and other banking operations.
o Ensure timely deposit of collections and withdrawals in line with company policy.
o Compliance and Governance – Assist in developing treasury policies and procedures as needed and ensure all treasury processes are well-documented and comply with established controls.
Coordination with Messengers and Couriers:
o Supervise and schedule messengers for inter-office or external document delivery.
o Track and ensure timely delivery/pickup of important documents and packages.
o Maintain a log of all deliveries and ensure proper documentation is retained.
• Storage for Hardcopies documentation: make sure the hard copies from Vendors, clients, government are well organized and kept in office locker.
Qualifications & Skills:
o Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
o 5-6 years of relevant experience in a finance or administrative role.
o CORETAX system knowledge is a plus
o Familiarity with local tax regulations and banking procedures in Market.
o Good interpersonal and communication skills (English required).
o Strong organizational and time management skills.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
o Experience working in a multinational or cross-functional environment.
o Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
o High integrity and attention to detail.
