Job Description
Do you have corporate strategic marketing or strategic consulting experience with proven track record of delivering impactful solutions and building strong relationships? Are you interested in brands and businesses – how they connect with people, how they communicate, how they sell and how they can evolve?
As Associate Director you will lead projects and teams, shape the solutions and storylines, and guide clients towards growth decisions winning new projects with clients. You will also develop your solution expertise in one of the consulting practices and support advance it. You will improve your project management skills and coach and develop others, sharing your skills and knowledge to grow the team.
Competencies
Associate Directors are expected to demonstrate the following competencies according to the Kantar Success Factors Framework:
- Leads with Impact: Takes ownership of projects (across the whole lifecycle, from scoping to execution and evaluation) and leads internal teams and client engagements. Flags issues and proposes solutions. Shows authenticity and openness and admits strengths and weaknesses.
- Solves Problems Decisively: Uses our key solutions with some senior help. Solves complex problems by asking the client's question, making hypotheses, and doing a structured analysis. Has the ability to develop a deep understanding of client needs, and then address them.
- Contextualises Meaningful Data: Understands the client's reality based on document reviews and stakeholder interviews. Explains how the analysis findings affect the client. Can find, interpret and combine findings across different Kantar data types for a bigger client question.
- Guides Business Action: Engages with clients to interact and get their agreement. Begins to show their ability to run workshops and discussions that help client decision-making.
- Connects to Win: Includes diverse perspectives and collaborates to use the power of winning together and communicating with empathy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you’ll need to build effective relationships internally, and with clients and have a desire to contribute to wider thought leadership.
- Builds Great Teams: With strong work ethic manage project teams, coaches and energises them, helping to deliver to time, quality and budget successfully. ‘Hands-on’ project work as well as delivering via the work of others, and planning and coordinating resource on a global /regional /local level to deliver goals.

A big picture thinker – with a strong ability to provoke and inspire clients to think differently about how to drive growth for their industry, business, category and product/service.
- Owns Commercial Success: Build excellent client relationships up to C-level, establishing as a credible expert in Commercial Strategy. Pursues opportunities with relentless hunger, prioritises resources to achieve targets and balances short and long-term value creation.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience working for or with a global brand in brand marketing or experience in growth/brand consulting or other relevant professional services is required.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful solutions and building strong relationship
